December Daily 14 and 15

I seem to be back on track. I just hope the hustle and bustle doesn’t distract me again.  But I do have a ton to do before Christmas is here so I will be planning my days very carefully.  Here are days 14 and 15 for you to enjoy.

December Daily 10, 11,12, and 13

Well, it happened, the busy bug has bitten and has put me behind.  After finals last week, and a couple of days of recovery, it is now time to play catch up.  Here are the next four days I have completed in my December Daily project.

December Daily 8 and 9

Yess!  I’m still trucking along on my December Daily.  The actual scrapbook part of this project is not the difficult part, but the blogging part is.  I am trying hard to bring you good content, and good photography.  Today I made a make shift light box out of poster board and masking tape.

December Daily 6 and 7

Yay!! Another two days are complete.  The covers to this album were quite simple to make.  I used chipboard and cut it ½ inch taller than my book and a full inch wider, to allow my tags to stick out.

December Daily 4 and 5

Whew!  What a busy week it has been.  Pages four and five are done, and I promised you a walk through of how I made my album.  I made this album with 8 lunch bags.  I just use the cheap ones you can get at the grocery store.  This album is an accordion album, so we will be folding the bags accordion style.

December Daily 2 and 3

With day two and three complete, I wanted to share with you how I put everything together, as well as my process as we journey through this month long project. As you know form my previous post, I made a paper bag mini.  After I made the mini I scrounged through my embellishment, and Christmas bins to find all of the bits and pieces to make my project come to life.  I grabbed a cute basket and loaded it up; it now sits on my desk so that everything I need is with in an arm’s reach.

December Daily 1

It is that time if year again... Most scrap bookers I know have been plotting and planning their December Daily projects for months now.  I of course, have been doing the same.  This is my third year doing a December Daily. The first year 2011 I bought Ali Edwards kit from Studio Calico.  I loved doing it but I missed the process of creating the actual book. Last year I did an envelope mini tutorial from Paper Phenomenon, I loved creating the book but only scrapped to December 14th.  So this year I have a renewed energy.  My family loves to look through these books during the holidays, it creates great fellowship and keeps our traditions alive.
